The Chagga people of Moshi in Tanzania are well known for their Arabica coffee. All around the town, and on the slopes of the famous Mountain Kilimanjaro lies vast plantations of coffee. With Tanzania being one of the largest coffee exporting countries in the world, a visit to a one of the nearby coffee plantations should be on your list of things to do when in Moshi.
During my 72 hours in Tanzania, I visited the Babu Coffee plantation as part of a tour and was well entertained by the making of coffee right from the harvest to the cup!
Watch the steps in pictures below or see video here.
Our Arrival at the plantation

I must confess, I am not so much a coffee drinker, but Coffee never tasted so good right there in the middle of the forest in Tanzania, a few miles from Mt Kilimanjaro!
